The issue
Promese turned to us with the online shop development plan, which assumed that the new platform would be the main products’ sales channel. Previously the brand didn’t exist online. Thus, platform development was the priority. Promese offer consists of various clothes and accessories dedicated to women’s wardrobe - the diversified assortment was one of the reasons why the online shop development seemed to be the most profitable option, e.g., in comparison to the marketplace sales.

Our solution
Online shops from the fashion industry usually expand or regularly change their assortment. They need highly flexible and scalable platforms that will adjust to their current business needs. For this reason, we decided to build the Promese online shop on the newest Magento 2 version. Magento is an ideal choice for this kind of projects thanks to its efficiency and nearly unlimited possibilities to expand the platform in the future.
A well-developed Magento based online store provides satisfactory page speed, which is crucial in stores with significant traffic. For the better platform performance, we configured Varnish and Redis cache. Furthermore, Promese is installed on the Nginx server, which guarantees high efficiency even in the server load. Additionally, our Client expected a few customized extensions and plugins that modified the typical Magento functionalities.
Solution in details

1. Customized bestsellers and new products
The online shop possesses the bestsellers and new product sections - separate for clothes and accessories. In both cases, the advanced filtration options are available. You can filter the products using product type, price, color, or size criteria.
2. Expected delivery date
Promese decided to give the customers detailed information regarding the expected delivery date. The shop uses a customized module which displays the delivery date for each product separately.
3. Integration with InPost
Except for the courier services, it is possible to choose the Paczkomaty delivery option. To make the integration, we have written a customized module that enables the closest Paczkomat choice by entering the appropriate code or selecting it from the map.
4. Extended product feed
The platform uses the module, which enables to create the advanced product feed. With its usage, it is possible to set particular conditions, promotion rules, or products’ attributes.
5. Dynamic cart reload
The enhancement vital from the users’ perspective - after adding another product to cart, the customer doesn’t need to reload the cart to see its actual content and the total value of the chosen products - the whole process is automatic.
6. Email templates
Typically, after placing an order, Magento generates an email that confirms the transaction. In Promese, we used the personalized email templates with individually set content and changed the graphical layout.
